Salty Carbs

A Mostly-Done-For-You Marketing Platform for Massage Therapists

Salty Carbs

Your website, hosting, content, brand, story, local search setup, and annual marketing plan, streamlined into one simple system.

Salty Carbs is built for massage therapists who are solo, going solo, or ready to treat their practice like a real business. It gives you the tools you need, removes the busywork you do not need, and shows you exactly what to do next.

This is not just a website. A website gives you somewhere to send people. Salty Carbs gives you a website, plus the plan to help people actually find you, trust you, and book with you.

Most of the heavy lifting is handled for you. Your site is built, written, hosted, structured for local search, and connected to a year-long marketing roadmap from day one. You still make the personal decisions: your story, your photo, your services, your colors, your domain, your reviews. But you are never staring at a blank page wondering what matters.

The goal is simple: help you establish your business, grow your personal brand, and fill your table without wasting time on marketing tasks that do not move the business forward.

Why This Exists

When you become a solo massage therapist, your job quietly doubles.

You are still the therapist. But now you are also the marketing department, the web team, the local SEO person, the review collector, the content creator, and the one who is supposed to "do something about Google."

That is where most people stall. They get a website, look at it, and then freeze because the site itself does not tell them what to do next.

Salty Carbs gives you two things:

  • The tools: a real website, built, written, hosted, and ready for clients, with local search, reviews, listings, content, and business essentials built around it.
  • The guide: a 52-week marketing plan that starts on day one and tells you the one move to make each week.

A website is a tool. A tool with no plan just sits there. The plan is what turns the site into a business asset.

This course walks you through the whole platform: setup, personalization, launch, marketing, and account management. You do not need to be technical. You do not need to do everything at once. The product is designed to guide you in order.

By the end, you will know what everything does, why it matters, and when to use it.

Module 1: Get Set Up

From sign-up to a live draft site. By the end of this module, your site will already be working, and you will see why you are not starting from zero. You are starting several steps in.

L1.1: Sign Up

Signing up is quick, easy and free for 6 months.

Start by clicking this link and signing up: portal.saltycarbs.life.

After 6 months, it's $50/month and you can cancel at any time.

L1.2: Tell Us About Your Practice

L1.2: Tell Us About Your Practice

The intake is the short form that builds your site.

Most of it is choosing from simple lists: your services, session lengths, location type, phone number, city, address, business name, and booking link. You will also answer a few story questions about why you do this work, who you love working with, and what clients say about you.

This is the only real writing you need to do, and even that does not need to be perfect. Write it like you would say it to a client. Everything can be edited later.

Why it matters: your answers become the words on your website and the structure behind your local search setup. Your services, city, address, and practice details help shape how people and Google understand your business.
When to do this: right after signing up, in one sitting. Do not overthink it. The goal is to give the system enough honest material to build from.

L1.3: Your Site Builds Itself

L1.3: Your Site Builds Itself

Once you submit the intake, your site starts building automatically.

You do not choose a layout. You do not write pages from scratch. You do not pick a host. You do not wire up every button.

The system builds your website and emails you when it is ready.

Your finished draft site goes live at your-name.saltycarbs.life.

Already handled for you:

  • A designed website
  • Written homepage and service content
  • Hosting
  • Local SEO setup
  • Schema and sitemap
  • Booking links throughout the site
  • A working public web address
Why it matters: this is the "starting several steps in" moment. Instead of beginning with a blank page, you begin with a real, live, bookable website.
When to do this: there is nothing to do during the build. Submit the intake, step away, and wait for the email.

Module 2: Make It Yours

Your draft site is live. Now you make it feel like you.

This stage is about trust: your face, your colors, your story, your services, and your voice.

L2.1: Your Dashboard

L2.1: Your Dashboard

The Dashboard is your home base. Think of it as a coach, not a control panel.

Instead of giving you a giant wall of buttons, it shows you the next step that matters most.

Your stages are Draft -> Polish -> Launch -> Grow.

Draft is already done once your site is built. Polish is where you add your photo, logo, colors, story, and details. Launch is where you connect your domain. Grow is where the weekly marketing plan takes over.

Why it matters: most business tools create more decisions. Salty Carbs reduces decisions. The Dashboard keeps you moving without making you manage a giant to-do list.
When to do this: start here every time you log in.

L2.2: Brand Kit: Your Look

L2.2: Brand Kit: Your Look

The Brand Kit is where your site starts to look like your practice.

Upload your logo if you have one. If not, the site already has an auto-generated logo so it still looks finished.

Upload your headshot. This is one of the highest-value things you can do.

Choose a preset palette or select your own colors. Choose light or dark mode. Your look updates quickly without changing your content.

Why it matters: massage is personal. People want to see the person they are booking with. A warm, clear photo of you builds trust faster than almost anything else on the site.
When to do this: early. The default design works, but your photo makes the business feel real.

L2.3: Story: Your Words

L2.3: Story: Your Words

The Story tab is where you refine what your site says.

You can update:

  • Your contact information
  • Your booking link
  • Your address and service area
  • Your social links
  • Your tagline
  • Your years of experience
  • Why you became a massage therapist
  • Who you love working with
  • What clients say about you
  • Your services and session lengths
  • Testimonials

Your intake already created a first draft. This step is about reading it, adjusting it, and making sure it sounds like you.

Why it matters: your design gets attention, but your story builds trust. People want to know who you are, what you do, and whether they feel comfortable booking with you.
When to do this: before launch. Make one focused pass, save your changes, and keep moving. You can always come back later.

Module 3: Launch on Your Own Address

Your site already works on the built-in Salty Carbs address. This module is about putting it on a domain you own.

L3.1: Connect Your Custom Domain

L3.1: Connect Your Custom Domain

A custom domain is your own web address, like www.yourpractice.com.

Your built-in address will keep working, but a branded domain looks more established and gives you one consistent address to use everywhere.

In the Launchpad, paste your domain, copy the two DNS records provided, add them wherever you bought your domain, and verify.

Why it matters: your own domain builds trust and keeps your business consistent across Google, directories, business cards, email signatures, and social profiles.
When to do this: before you start submitting business listings.

L3.2: The Timing Rule

There is one important order to follow: Domain first. Listings second.

If you plan to use your own domain, connect it before you start submitting your business to directories.

Why? Because every listing should use the same business name, address, phone number, and website. If you submit listings with one web address and change it later, you create extra cleanup work.

Why it matters: consistency helps Google trust your business. The fewer mismatches across the internet, the better.
When to do this: before the Marketing module sends you into business listings. If you are staying with your built-in Salty Carbs address, you can move on.

Module 4: Fill Your Table

This is the heart of Salty Carbs.

Your site is built. Your business is online. Now the platform tells you what to do each week to grow.

L4.1: This Week's Move & the 52-Week Plan

L4.1: This Week's Move & the 52-Week Plan

The Marketing area gives you one move each week.

Not a giant task list. Not a vague suggestion. One sequenced action that helps establish and grow your business.

The 52-week plan is organized into four phases:

  • Foundation: the basics your business needs
  • Get Found: local search, listings, reviews, and visibility
  • Keep Clients & Grow: retention, follow-up, referrals, and repeat visits
  • Scale & Compound: the later moves that build on everything already done

The order matters. Early actions are chosen because they create the foundation that later marketing depends on.

Why it matters: this is what separates Salty Carbs from a normal website. You do not just get a place to send people. You get a business-building plan that tells you what to do next.
When to do this: once a week. Open the Marketing area, do the week's move, and check it off.

L4.2: Your Weekly Habits

L4.2: Your Weekly Habits

Below the weekly move are the small habits that compound.

These include:

  • Ask for a review
  • Post to your Google profile
  • Post to social using provided ideas
  • Reply to reviews

They reset every week, so the goal is rhythm, not perfection.

Why it matters: growing a massage practice is not usually one big marketing stunt. It is a few small, smart actions repeated consistently. Reviews build trust. Google posts keep you active. Social content keeps you visible. Replies show people you are paying attention.
When to do this: throughout the week, between clients, whenever you have a few minutes.

L4.3: Your NAP Sheet & Business Listings

L4.3: Your NAP Sheet & Business Listings

Your NAP sheet gives you the exact business information to copy into listings.

NAP stands for Name, Address, Phone. But your sheet includes more than that: your services, descriptions, keywords, slogan, social links, and website.

Use one-tap copy to keep everything consistent across directories, Google, local listings, and other places where clients might find you.

Why it matters: Google trusts businesses that are described consistently across the web. Mismatched details can work against you. The NAP sheet removes the guesswork and the typos.
When to do this: after your domain is settled. Then use the "Got 5 minutes?" list to knock out listings one at a time.

L4.4: Content Ideas & the Weekly Email

L4.4: Content Ideas & the Weekly Email

Salty Carbs helps with content in two ways.

First, the content ideas button gives you fresh social post ideas for your practice. You do not have to invent topics from scratch.

Second, the weekly email brings the plan back to you. It includes:

  • This week's move
  • Your weekly habits
  • Fresh content ideas
Why it matters: the plan only works if you return to it. The weekly email keeps you from having to remember everything yourself.
When to do this: when the email lands, open it, do the week's move, and use one idea for a post.

Module 5: Your Account & Ongoing Support

This module covers the quiet business-side stuff: your account, billing, changes, and help.

L5.1: Your Account

L5.1: Your Account

The Account area holds your private admin details:

  • Name
  • Password
  • Billing
  • Subscription management

This is separate from your public business information. Your public-facing story, services, photo, and practice details live in Story and Brand Kit.

Why it matters: the account holder does not have to be the same person featured on the website. That helps when one person handles the business side and another is the therapist clients are booking with.
When to do this: whenever you need to update login details, manage billing, or cancel.

L5.2: Change Anything, Anytime

L5.2: Change Anything, Anytime

Nothing is locked in.

You can update your photo, colors, services, testimonials, story, contact details, booking link, and more. Each edit rebuilds the site so your changes show up live.

Your first version does not have to be perfect. It just needs to be real enough to start.

For help, use help@saltycarbs.life or saltycarbs.life/setup.

Why it matters: the ability to change things later removes the pressure to get everything perfect on day one. Salty Carbs is built so you can launch, learn, improve, and keep moving.

Final Message

You became a massage therapist to work on people, not to wrestle with websites, Google, listings, reviews, and social posts at midnight.

Salty Carbs handles the foundation, gives you the tools, and guides the plan.

You are not starting at zero. You are starting with a website already built, a business system already organized, and a year-long roadmap waiting for you.

Follow the plan halfway and you will have a stronger business than most solo therapists ever build. Follow it all the way to a practice that can keep growing.
